The Key to Taking Your Life Back: The Yoga Mind
We love to move our bodies, stretch out and work out in order to build strong and flexible yoga bodies. But without awareness of your other uniquely human equipments (your mind and your intellect), you will be vulnerable to the ups and downs of life, blindly following our impulses, desires and sensual attachments. According to the ancient teachings of yoga, we practice yoga for self-development or Self-realization. Regardless of our intention, we can achieve this only by discovering and working on the secret key to it all; building our intellects as known as The Yoga Mind. Through interactive discussions, games, activities, and some physical practice, this session will help you decipher between the three equipments and learn how to master the three R’s of our lives: Receipt, Reaction, Response. You’ll walk away understanding how to make hard decisions, stop procrastinating and take action, and get a simplified and profound grasp on why we do the things we do. Obtain a happier and healthier life by finding the key; a strong Yoga Mind. It’s time to take control of your life!

Brilliance, Resilience & Wholehearted Living
While the unavoidable challenges of daily life are great motivators on the spiritual path, they can sometimes leave us feeling pulled apart, polarized from each other or overwhelmed with the state of the world. Instead of letting that drive us apart or shut us down, yoga teaches us to cultivate the ability to say “yes” to the whole spectrum of life’s experiences. In the first half of this workshop we will practice techniques to release trauma and tension, calm the nervous system and build tolerance for day-to-day stress. In the second half we will shift focus out of fear, lack and loneliness and back into abundance, joy and connection with tools to help build resiliency and inner strength. Through postures, breath and mindfulness we will bring ourselves back home, to a sense of wholehearted living, courage and openness to meet the world.

Slackline Yoga 101
Limited Capacity seats available

Slackline Yoga is a type of slacklining that emphasis is on static postures, transitions and controlled movements. It is practiced on short line, close to the ground, that offers a safe place to gain new skills. Unlike many of the other types of slacklining, standing and walking on the line are only a small subset of the practice. Through the YogaSlackers progressive method students get the tools they need to develop a slackline practice that includes our five main modalities: kneeling, standing, sitting, arm balances and inversions.

Our teaching is characterized by safe and thoughtful progressions, strong focus on fundamentals, clear and concise instructions and success by practice and repetition. As we learn what is possible, our relationship with the line becomes more comfortable. In this class you will learn the five fundamental ways to connect with a slackline. Once this five foundations are strong, and with practice, you will be able to express a full yoga practice on a line.

Chakras and Yin
Have you wondered why sometimes you leave yoga feeling fantastic and other times feeling frustrated or vulnerable? Healing the physical body through asana (the yoga poses) is the first step. Healing the emotional body is the next. The chakras teach us how to heal our emotional bodies. They provide an energetic road map to help us understand and work through areas where we are emotionally and physically stuck.

In this yin yoga class, we will use relaxing poses, meditation and intention to dive deep into our body and soul providing a foundation for healing and breakthroughs. Through asana and lecture we will provide a thorough overview of the chakra system. You will leave with tools to dive deeper into seeing and living your life symbolically.

Earth Element: Yin Restorative Yoga
This Earth element yin/restorative class will focus on to the Spleen, Pancreas & Stomach. These are the organs that digest our foods and distribute their nutrients appropriately, giving us the sustenance to do what we do in the world. Psychologically, they allow us to digest our experiences & turn them into usable ideas, intentions & creations. Around the Summer Solstice is the perfect time to tune into these organs and balance their Prana. This coming season draws us closer to our center "Spirit" and gives us time to heal, nourish and nurture ourselves. The spirit of the Earth element endows us with the ability to stand behind our words & dreams with purpose & intent & to bestow upon us clarity of thought, self awareness and integrity.

Props to bring:

Kai Chi Do: Breathwork
Kai Breathwork is a highly experiential inner journey that uses holotropic breath, music, and sacred space to create the conditions for an inner experience that can be very deep, profound and healing. This type of breathwork has had a long lineage especially in cultures that place a high value on spiritual experience or, at least, practices that have the potential for psychological and spiritual healing such as rites of passage, initiations, and other culturally sanctioned rituals and religious ceremony. We will open the space with a Kai Chi Do circle and then move into a Kai Breathwork journey. The workshop is designed to support people to experience non-ordinary states of consciousness.

Yoga Nidra Meditation
Limited Capacity filling up

Yoga Nidra " Yogic Sleep" is a ancient yogic practice for the mind, body and spirit. I will guide you into a state where your body is completely relaxed, as you "Spirit" become increasingly aware of your inner world by following a set of verbal instructions. This state of consciousness (yoga nidra) is different from meditation because concentration on a single focal point is required. This practice will bring you immediate physical benefits, such as reduced stress and better sleep. 45 min of Yoga Nidra is said to be the equivalent of 4 hours of sleep. You also have the potential to heal psychological, and emotional wounds as you go within. Coming out of this class you will experience a profound sense of Self, joy and well-being.

Fundamentals of Slackline Yoga
Limited Capacity seats available

Slackline Yoga is a type of slacklining where the emphasis is on static postures, transitions and learning control.

Our method is characterized by safe and thoughtful progressions, strong focus on fundamentals, clear and concise instructions and success by practice and repetition. As we learn what is possible, our relationship with the line becomes more comfortable. In this class you will learn the five fundamental ways to connect with a slackline. Once this five foundations are strong, and with practice, you will be able to express a full yoga practice on a line.
