Slackline Yoga is a type of slacklining that emphasis is on static postures, transitions and controlled movements. It is practiced on short line, close to the ground, that offers a safe place to gain new skills. Unlike many of the other types of slacklining, standing and walking on the line are only a small subset of the practice. Through the YogaSlackers progressive method students get the tools they need to develop a slackline practice that includes our five main modalities: kneeling, standing, sitting, arm balances and inversions.

Our teaching is characterized by safe and thoughtful progressions, strong focus on fundamentals, clear and concise instructions and success by practice and repetition. As we learn what is possible, our relationship with the line becomes more comfortable. In this class you will learn the five fundamental ways to connect with a slackline. Once this five foundations are strong, and with practice, you will be able to express a full yoga practice on a line.
